We strongly believe in introducing innovative pedagogy in teaching from enhancing depth of specialization to adding personality development features while preparing the Global Business leaders of the future. iASM believes in the holistic education, which develops the overall personality of the students. The teaching pedagogy comprises case study, PBL, Industrial visits, group teaching, and debate. Education at iASM is deliberately intended to be a life changing experience, one that will shape the professional identity and influence the thinking for the rest of the life. At iASM, the shaping of future managers is done through the several methods outlined hereby highly qualified and experienced faculty.
Lectures
Lectures by faculty members give necessary inputs to the students. The lectures are gives making use of the latest audios-visual teaching aids like OHPs, overhead LCD projection systems, intelligent whiteboards.
Case studies
This method of teaching is employed to develop the mental ability and opportunity is given to each student to develop his/her problem-solving and presentation skills.
Guest Lectures
iASM strives to improve the quality of education by extensive industry interface, practicing the 3-1 concept (Industry-Institute-Interface). Regular weekly guest lectures from industry leaders/experts in different areas of industry are arranged to provide valuable insights into contemporary business and industrial practices.
Working on Projects & Assignments
Projects and assignments form n integral part of the curriculum. Several projects are identified for the student to select from. Guidance to work on the project is provided by the source instructor, concerned.
Seminars & Workshops
Learning through seminars, workshops and conferences which encourage professional discussions among students and practicing managers.
Role Playing and Simulation
Role playing gives students a chance to live the roles and practice the concepts before hand. Computerized business simulation games simulate the real business world environment. |
